Introduction
Maybe the most important part of this video series! We’ll figure out how to support you in actually WATCHING and FINISHING video series. You do have a neurospicy brain, afterall, and we want to respect that!
Chapter 1: Neurospicy does not mean lazy
Start to heal from old messages so that you can feel confident and hopeful about running your household!
Chapter 2: Know how your brains work
We’ll look at the different characteristics of brains and each family member will identify their brain's characteristics. That way we can take advantage of your strengths and be forgiving of your weaknesses! There are no “bad” brains.
Chapter 3: The many (overwhelming) parts of chores
Part of what makes chores hard is that we say “do the laundry” but that actually includes a million tiny steps!!! Using my system “The 4 Parts of Every Chore” we’ll break chores down into smaller tasks so that you know where to start and what to do.
Chapter 4: Chore categories for the neurospicy
Not all chores are created equal. Using your brain’s characteristics, I’ll show you which chores you should be in charge of … and which someone else should do.
Chapter 5: A Plan for Working on It
Nothing works perfectly on the first try, so we’ll set you up with a plan to help you to be most successful.
hi!
My name’s Dr. Sarah Griesemer. Did I think I’d make a career based on how to get dishes washed? Not really…
But, I’ve been through enough therapy and couples counseling to figure some things out and there’s no reason for you to reinvent the wheel.
Plus, I’m a late-in-life diagnosed ADHD woman who has neurodiverse kiddos, and I work with parents who have kids with ADHD and Autism in my therapy life.
This is my chance to bring all my skills together to help you come up with a plan that makes you feel confident and calm.
